At our school, there are more staff and other members of the community who all play such an important part in our childrens lives. We all work together as a team to provide a happy, safe and Christian environment where children are valued, suitably supported and challenged in their learning. We feel very privileged and honoured to welcome Terry Fox poet Laureate for Cheshire 2008 and Julian Mason landscape artist into our school. These very talented gentlemen have agreed to be our poet and artist in residence for the coming year, and we hope to be able to share our work with you soon. Our Head Teacher Mrs Massen works very hard doing her best for the children, staff and school. Our Bursar and Administration Assistant Mrs Van Oss (Bursar) and Mrs Statham look after the office. They have many different jobs to do and are always kept very busy. They each work three days per week. St. Luke's Church We enjoy very strong links with St.Lukes Church (click on the above picture to find out more) Dinner Ladies This is Mrs Hough our school cook. (click on her to find out more information and to see a sample menu) Caretaker This is our caretaker Mr Hough. He opens the school in the morning and makes sure it is o.k for us to come to school. One of his many jobs is to clear the snow, and grit the paths to keep it safe for us! Governors
We all need school governors, they have to make a lot of very important decisions, about our school and it's staff; so they have lots of meetings. (A full list of Governors can be found just inside the school entrance door) Volunteers We are very lucky to have a few volunteers. There will be times when we need more help than others. If you do have a special talent or some available time to spare, please let the school know. "All help is greatly appreciated" School Nurses We have school nurses who visit our children, they can do their weight, height, sight and hearing tests. We also have a nurse drop in on selected days; this is where our mums and dads can speak to the nurse at the school if they have any concerns about us. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
